Virtual gallery 'DMOCHOWSKI GALLERY' is successor of the actual gallery named 'Galerie Dmochowski. Musée-galerie de Beksinski' that had been displayed in Paris, at Quincampoix Street, between 1989 and 1995. While the mission of the latest was to popularize Beksiński's art, one of its successor is to exhibit not only the works of this great artist, but also a variety of those I have met on my way, and whose compositions I treasure. They are, as a rule, figurative artists, expressing their suffering, anxiety and pain. Some of them create realistic works. Others - fantastic or symbolic ones. Some are well-known and acknowledged, others lesser known, nevertheless - to my mind - outstanding.
I want to show them all to you, and share my impressions that arise while admiring their works.
These works will go on display and go on sale occasionally. Most often, they will be exhibited just for the sake of the pure joy of experiencing them. For they will be presented by a collector, not a merchant. |
